Korea Regional Development Foundation (KRDF) is a non-profit private foundation founded in March 2004. KRDF presents the regional development strategy for the region to pioneer its future with independent power, and supports and fosters local leaders to lead the regional development themselves.

韩国“地域基金会”（KRDF）是一个非盈利性的私人基金会，成立于2004年3月。KRDF 提出了该地区的区域发展战略，以独立实力开创其未来，并支持和培养地方领导人自己领导区域发展。

KRDF is against agricultural structural policies based on competitiveness supremacy, and rejects rural development policies that are biased in favor of pursuing same urbanization process experienced by cities. KRDF pursues an integrated regional development of economy, society, culture and environment of the region to maximize the pluralistic value of agriculture and the rural. KRDF is to contribute in realizing a sustainable society that is mutually beneficial for both the urban and the rural.

KRDF 反对基于竞争优势的农业结构性政策，反对偏向于追求城市所经历的同样的城市化进程的农村发展政策。KRDF 追求区域经济、社会、文化和环境的一体化发展，以最大限度地发挥农业和农村的多元价值。KRDF 将为实现一个对城市和农村都有利的可持续社会做出贡献。

Main Activities

Networking: 

KRDF runs and operates a variety of programs for network building and cooperation among local leaders. 

    - Building and maintaining regional·sectoral network of networks 

    - Benchmarking good foreign practices 

    - Strengthening capacity of on-site support organizations and activists 

    - Making and supporting local leaders funds and local leader support projects

建立关系网:

KRDF 运行和操作各种各样的项目，用于网络建设和与当地领导人之间的合作。

    - 建立和维护区域部门网络

    - 确定外国良好做法的基准

    - 加强现场支助组织和活动家的能力

    - 制定和支持地方领导人资金和地方领导人支助项目

Regeneration of the region: 

KRDF strengthens the field-oriented and feasible support activities for the practice of 'circular and symbiotic community building based on autonomy and cooperation'. 

    - Establishing the town development plan 

    - Building and supporting local circular economic system

    - Building and supporting on-site support organizations 

    - Building and supporting public and private sector governance

区域再生:

KRDF 加强了面向实地和可行的支助活动，以实践"基于自主和合作的循环和共生社区建设"。

    - 制定城镇发展规划

Practical sink tank: 

KRDF’s research activities gather challenges posed in regions and 

facilitates communication between local leaders in the field and experts. 

    - Excavation and formation of regional policy agenda

    - Discovering and spreading of mutually beneficial urban-rural models 

    - Identifying and spreading of endogenous development models
